When Time Doesn't Make Sense
by Karla ° Saturday, September 1, 2007
Nate is 36 weeks old.

That is almost exactly the same number of weeks that I was pregnant with him and oh my swollen uterus, that pregnancy felt more like nine years.

And the time that has gone by since he was born?

It feels more like nine minutes.

If even.

It is amazing how the time goes so fast. It feels like my babes were just born yesterday but at the same time I feel like I have known them forever.

Time always goes way to fast for parents. It's funny...with Zander we always so anxious for the next step...rolling over, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, talking. Then we realized how fast time was flying by. Now I wish I could go back to when he was a wee little baby in my arms and just savour it all...not even think about what was coming next.

That is a great picture. I always ask my son to stop growing so fast, it doesnt seem fair that they are little for such a short period of time.

he is beautiful Karla!

He's gorgeous! Is it wrong to wish that adult towels came with duck heads too?

You know M, I was thinking exactly the same thing.

Adult towels should also be big enough to cover our bodies from head to toe and wide enough to wrap around our entire body without leaving that gaping void where cold air gets in and makes you cold.

Look at that cutie guy!

Sometimes it seems like time is just crawling, but others, it's running away from me way too fast!

I love all of your posts and have been reading for a couple months now. I know you are a wonderful mother. I've never posted a comment before but had to today because I think you have the most gorgeous son. He's too pretty to be a boy almost-that's what people say about our son too and I always take it as a compliment.

The last couple of pictures show such a different little guy. orgeous, not that he hasn't always been, but boy, he is exploding with eat-him-up'ness

I clicked over from Mrs. Grumpy, and HOLY CRAP you should have a WARNING on a site if you're going to post such cute fuzzy ducky baby photos! My ovaries SEIZED.
