This is not a hint.

“Did you change the sheets today?”

“No. Why?”

“They feel clean – did you vacuum them?”

This is from the lips of the same man whose socks I used to find in my planters back when we first moved in together. Although the sock flinging has stopped, leaving socks randomly all over the floor has not, and I’m pretty sure that he still believes there is a magical sock fairy that spends her days skipping about the house with a laundry basket in her arms in search of his fusty sock carcasses to fill it with.

If I believed in fairies, I’d say she deserves a big long back rub tonight.

I guess there is a sock faerie and that she does indeed deserve a back rub.

hmmmm, we have a cheeto fairy in our house that chases after my son

My husband and his brother do the sock thing, so after the birth of our son, I was not surprised to find tiny little socks in the living room, the car,....

My husband leaves his shoes about halfway up the stairs each night - yet miraculously each morning they are in his wardrobe. Not once has he questioned how they got there... maybe I should leave them there one night and just maybe he will get up and trip over them?

How hysterical that he actually asked "Did you vacuum the sheets?" HA!

In our house there is a boxer and t shirt ferry. Is it so much to ask that they at least get tossed in the general direction of the hamper?!?

I am so happy to hear that I am not alone. However, in our house there is also a clothes fairy, as my hubby drops his wherever he happens to be standing when he feels the mood. Yes, there are many times I find pieces of his wardrobe right inside the front door!

Oh, can I ever relate this one.

Vacuuming the sheets....ha!

I am actually the messy one. Carlos is c-l-e-a-n! He does the laundry (I have a bad back, but he would do it even if I didn't!), he empties and loads the dishwasher with no nagging required, he cleans up after himself and others, his dirty clothes ALWAYS go in the hamper...this guy is clean!

Get this...he'll do this thing that makes my friends' jaws drop. He'll ask "what's the plan for tonight? are we doing anything?" I'll say "no, I don't think so...why?", then he'll say something like "I thought we could rearrange the kitchen cabinets", or "maybe we could sort out the linen closet". What man does that?????

I'm convinced he was a woman in a past life....
