Here Comes Trouble
by Karla ° Thursday, August 16, 2007
Nate is on the verge of crawling, and I am on the verge of never being able to take my eyes off him ever again because have you seen the size of my dog? Nate could very well drown in Samson’s water dish!

And remember that cute little noise that Nate makes?

BOP!

He said it on film, you know, for the ladies.

You have at least another month or two before he will be crawling !

He needs to be up on all fours and rockin back and forth and then try and drag themselves backwards first before they go forward !

Too cute! I think he will be dancing before he crawls.

Is that what needs to happen?

Oh well. I guess I posted a video on the interweb of my son writhing and squirming on the ground.

Enjoy!

Wait until he discovers Samson's rusty badge and tries to explore it with his sweet little fingers.

I think Nate and Samson will team up and have, you know, super-cool adventures ;)

How fun!

Do you see Samson being protective of Nate yet??

Definitely a proud momma moment.

Hi Donna,

Not really, at least not yet anyways.

He does love to lick food from Nate's face though.

awww, what a cutie-pie! He's so happy :)

He is so adorable! That little laugh is too much!! I didn't reply on your bop post, but ever since I read it, I find myself trying to make that noise. You're right, it does take concentration...LOL!! But, it must come naturally to boys because both of mine can do it with no problem at all.

Nate could be crawling tomorrow. All babies are different and my oldest just started crawling one day. At almost 9 months old, he wasn't rolling over, had no teeth and wasn't even trying to crawl. At his well-baby, his doc commented on it and pretty much the next day he cut a tooth and started crawling. He was walking two weeks later!! And it's the truth...you'll never be able to take your eyes off of him. Once they start moving, they never stop!!

I love the way you edited it, and I find myself dancing around in my chair.

Puppy actually helped Alison learn to walk. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he slowly walked with her. I wish I had video of it.

The first commenter may be right, but not necessarily. Alison spent a lot of time sitting still and resting in my arms. Around 9 months she started doing like Nate and she was crawling shortly thereafter.

love it he's getting so big!!!

You never know, I think he could lift those arms and legs up any minute. There are no hard and fast rules about having to rock first. Some babies do go backward for a while though, that's a cute sight to see. My guy has started kicking his legs and almost moves himself in a circle but that's about it. I think mobile will be great but I'm still enjoying being able to sit him on the floor and not having to worry about where he might disappear to.

Oh, Karla!

He is SOOOOOO adorable.

Why would you WANT to take your eyes off of him?!

He is going to be crawling before you know it.

I loved his giggle at the end of the video.

Glad anonymous is an expert on babies crawling!

Oh my gosh - that is so adorable. I think he is going to be a future dance. I'm just sayin! The way he was bouncing looked like he was dancin to the music. That kid has rhythm!

Cool video.

Great birthday present! Thanks!

Cole wasn't doing anything, then all of a sudden he was off and running! It's on, baby! Just think, soon enough he'll be walking!

Too cute Karla! I love your editing skills too. I just couldn't hear little Nate's voice over the music. :(

Hey Lindz. I know. :(

He didn't say it loud enough really, but you can still totally see how he puckers and moves those little lips of his.
