Big Bad Belly Shots Finale – 37 Weeks
by Karla ° Monday, December 18, 2006
I had my last doctor’s appointment and ultrasound today. All is well, and my doctor has suggested keeping my feet up this week to help ensure I don’t go into labour. It’s a good thing we did some Christmas baking last weekend. Now I absolutely have an excuse to sit on my ass and pig out on reverse chocolate chip cookies and cookie stuffed brownies.

I’m scheduled for a non stress test this Wednesday as a final means of reassurance that baby is doing well before the c-section.

At this point I feel:

- about as graceful as a centipede on crutches.
- as limber as an arthritic thumb
- as heavy as a one could expect to feel with the weight of a bowling ball hovering between her legs
- 100% excited to meet my baby this Friday

What is a non stress test. Do you go in and sit on a recliner and eat chocolates or something.

Time really flies. I can hardly believe that you will have Nate on Friday. That just leaves him one whole day to get you a Christmas present..

OK, enough with this, let’s get to the important part – which of those gifts under the tree is for me?

Hey, early happy birthday to the best gift of all, and remember, BLOGGING can be done while sitting and eating baked goods! I’ve proven that more than once.

Karla... I can tell from all your photos that you are worried about the wee one, as you almost never smile in them.

Be sure to take a few of you looking at your tummy and smiling!!!! :)

It's going to go GREAT and by this time next week you are going to be miserable with hurting boobs, jelly belly and lack of sleep... and you'll be the happiest silly new Mommy on the face of the earth for it! LOL.
