Blast from the Past: Train Engineer Style
by Karla ° Friday, April 3, 2009
Wow. Apparently I am so absolutely thrilled to be wearing these overalls from grade 9 (or maybe grade 10, I don’t remember) that I can’t even contain my excitement enough to hold the camera straight. Either that or I was drunk when I took this picture. Either option is entirely possible.

All that’s missing here is a matching pinstripe train engineer hat and then I’m set for Halloween this year. At least that is, if I don’t pass out from a stripe overload induced seizure.

I actually think they are cute! In fact I would wear them. You should wear them more!

I am totally remembering all of these way back fashions! :)

I have a picture of myself in COLLEGE wearing overalls. I have only been out of college for 5 years. Oh, the mortification!

I just realized - next month, I will have been out of college for 6 years. I am losing my mind.

bwahaha. Why do you still own these things?! I can see the dress, cause you made it and it's cute but these are just N to the O. :D

p.s. if it makes you feel any better..when I was eleven I had WINNIE THE POOH overalls. Yeah, really. Overalls that had winnie/piglet on the pocket. *sigh* Jr. High was super fun.

They are great!
I think I had some very similar ~ only with red stripes!
These blasts from the past are certainly taking me down memory lane!

Hey, I'm nearly 40 and I just stopped wearing overalls about 5 years ago! I really loved these when they came out (I was in Uni) and wanted a pair - are they Ikeda? Or did I just make up that brand?
My vote is a keep!

MamaT: Yes! Oh my goodness, you know Ikeda? I think these were purchased at Bootlegger.

you need to dress nate up as a train and wear your conductor outfit on halloween. Of course you are going to have to find that hat!
