Mr. Fussy Pants
by Karla ° Friday, January 5, 2007
Anne Geddes' baby models are either sedated or not human. Or she is a whimsical goddess that casts magic spells to prevent raging baby fussy faces of maximum distress and impedes new parent's with novice camera skills from illegal copyright infringement of her photographs.

LOL! Yeah it never quite worked for me either!

LOL I read somewhere once that she actually puts the babies in a soft place in a very warm room and waits until they fall asleep. Then photographs whatever they are 'in' seperately and photoshops it all together.

In any case, Nate looks adorable.

I must confess that Anne's photo's creep me out. This one of Nate is pure beauty.

LOL - priceless.

But - you have pretty hands :).

It's a great picture. I couldn't even attempt an Anne Geddes like picture so kudos to you for doing so.

Awww!!! It doesn't even matter that he's fussy, that just makes him all the more cute!

I love that you even attemped this!! Anne Geddes was on Oprah once and said she photographs the babies when they are asleep and then adds in other the "other stuff" with some sort of photo shop program. Happy picture taking!!

I must say that baby Nate looks beautiful despite wearing his 'Mr. Fussy Pants' face!

KArla,
it is still a very cute picture! I have one like that as well when my son was 1 day old. you can see it on my myspace. www.myspace.com/cartersmom05.

Thank you for the welcome Karla! And may I saw, Mr. Fussy Pants is GORGEOUS! I think the pic still turned out great! Very natural!

I agree with Linda. What perfectly articulated little features. Endlessly more appealing than the Geddesstuff.Justyou wait, you are going to discover with Nate your own magic style. And, of course, you'll have us all swooning and sending photos of our daughters, his little virtual groupies.

:)

IT IS A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE. HE IS GORGEOUS AND LOOKS BETTER THEN ANY ANN GEDES PICTURE I'VE EVER SEEN.

Aww, what a cute picture. Like someone said, Priceless.
Keep those pictures coming. I enjoy coming on here and seeing Nate.

I happen to prefer real baby emotions and faces to the dressed up doll-like faces in Geddes pics. The real pics are the best ones, not the posed ones.

BTW, congratulations! He looks just like you. The features, not the fussy face.

I agree it's hard to capture pics like those. Even mad though I have to say Nate is so adorable! I like this picture!

Yes, but what an adorable cranky face it is! Maybe you could photoshop in some "angry" vegetables, like brussel sprouts or onions or something ;)

I'm with Amanda, can our daughters be Nate's virtual groupies? My Sephie is not quite 17 months and says she likes younger men just fine ;) (Something to do with them never growing up anyway...)

So glad you're having fun with him! Is it time for another music video yet??

But this one is more beautiful than any Geddes picture because this one looks like a real life baby.

Ahh, I went to a professional photographer to get pics of my husband and I holding our son that way. Or just laying out on our arms. She took one look at our son (he was born large and weighed about 11 lbs at the time) and laughed. *sigh*

Even with the pout, he is adorable.

Well, even though he didn't look too cooperative it was certainly an adorable picture. I'd love to do something like that when Shan's born.
