Hoo Doo You Do? |
This is a HOO DOO!
If I told you that it was weathering and erosion that caused this geological wonder to look like this, you might raise an eyebrow and think I was kidding.
I kid you not! This is not an eccentric carving of a penis fanatic, this is a HOO DOO and it is a protected resource in Canada!
(Go figure, it took us how long to protect the rights of same sex couples to unite in marriage, but we have been protecting rocks that look like a giant penis since 1979).

i know that i learned during my junior high about the kind of weathering that makes such kind of layered rocks, but what's the word?! darn,it's on the tip of my tongue...
and hey, my friends and i have been crossing our fingers and toes for quite awhile, and the same-sex legislation has finally passed the final reading!! *happy dance*
do you know that canada is only the third country in the world who officially recognizes same-sex unions?? (the firsts are the netherlands and belgium)
lol, I have never seen or heard of this. Thanks for the lesson.
I took Geology in college to get out of having to take Chemistry. So I know that. I'm so proud!
That makes me hot.

That's Chimney Rock, in NC. Now that looks like a big penis! The pic doesn't do it justice, but when you see it in person, it's hilarious!
Oh Beth... I so want to make the obvious and funny reply to your comment about never having seen a rock penis before but this is my wife's blog so I'll keep it clean :-)
Last time we went canoeing I saw a tree that obviously looked like a couple doing it doggy style. I said, "Richard, what does that look like?" He saw it immediately.
